Student Documentaries
Students learn science with increased depth when the have to write questions and interview experts in the field of science. No student wants to go into an interview situation unprepared. Many science standards are met simply through the process of vetting questions and investigating interview subjects.

My students have made other documentaries. In Climate Skies, students document the scientific data collection at Whiteface Mountain's Atmospheric Science Research Center by creating a virtual tour utilizing drone footage and interviews with science personnel at the midstation and summit station.
